Join our team as an General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d) in our Finance team – on-site / hybrid at our location in Plovdiv, Sofia or Varna, or flexibly remote within Bulgaria.
The position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to take ownership of day-to-day accounting for selected entities of the iC Consult Group.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operational Financial Accounting: Independently managing financial accounting for our international group companies – processing all business transactions across accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting, including the monthly VAT returns
- Payments & Reconciliation: Executing payment runs, monitoring daily payments, performing regular account and bank reconciliations, and supporting receivables management
- Financial Closing: Recording accruals and provisions and actively contributing to the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for domestic and foreign group companies
- Entity Ownership: Acting as the support and internal point of contact for our group companies
Your Experience:
- Education: A completed bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification with a focus on accounting, finance, tax, or a related field
- Professional Experience: Initial professional experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment
- Tools: Very good knowledge of DATEV and good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word) as well as AI tools such as Claude
- Working Style: Great attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a structured way of working
- Languages: German and English skills, written and spoken
