For our locations in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna or remote in Bulgaria we’re looking for an IT Security Specialist (m/f/d) who not only understands the theory behind secure systems but thrives on putting that knowledge into action. In this role, you’ll go beyond frameworks and policies -you’ll be hands-on in designing, implementing, and optimizing security measures that protect our infrastructure and data. If you’re someone who can bridge the gap between concept and execution, we want to hear from you.
Your Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, test, and implement security solutions including EDR/XDR, Firewalls (IDS/IPS), SIEM/SOC, DLP, and MDM.
- Develop and maintain security standards, regularly auditing them to reflect new threats and organizational changes.
- Configure IT services and applications according to secure baselines, enforcing the principle of least privilege.
- Identify vulnerabilities and threats through regular audits and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits by implementing required controls and presenting technical evidence.
- Proactively update and optimize security solutions to ensure the continuous protection of our infrastructure.
Your Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification.
- 5+ years of professional experience specifically in IT Security.
- Proven track record in the hands-on implementation and configuration of security solutions.
- Independent, self-motivated work style with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent English skills (written and verbal).
- Strong ability to bridge the gap between security concepts and technical execution.

- The iC Consult University will prepare an individual induction path for you to make it easier for you to get started with a tailored training program in the first 365 days.
